Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019 – The only exhibition in the “Supporting Industry Development Program 2019” of Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade
Hanoi, March 18th, 2019 – The 15th Saigon International Autotech & Accessories Show (Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019) will take place from 23rd to 26th May, 2019 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. As the only exhibtion approved to be in the “Supporting Industry Development Program 2019” of Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade, Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019 promises to be an event that is worth waiting for with usefully specialized events and a wide range of attractive performances.
The only exhibition in the “Supporting Industry Development Program 2019”
The supporting industry always plays an important role in the national economy, which is the basis for sustainable industrial development. However, for many years, Vietnam’s supporting industry has been facing many limitations. According to the Vietnam Industry Agency – the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the supply from domestic enterprises in the field of supporting industry meet only 10 – 15% of the domestic demand. With the view to meeting 35% of the demand for components and spare parts of domestic manufacturing and assembling enterprises by 2020 and meeting over 65% of that by 2035, the Government has approved many policies focusing on the development of the support industry. “Supporting Industry Development Program in 2019” of Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade is a part of “Supporting Industry Development Program from 2016 to 2025” approved by the Prime Minister. The program was developed and implemented to support and connect businesses and promote foreign investment in the supporting industries.
As a practical event to businesses in particular and to Vietnam’s supporting industry in general, Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019 is honored to be the only exhibition approved by Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade to be included in “Supporting industry development program in 2019”. Being organized for 14 times, Saigon Autotech & Accessories has affirmed its credibility and role in creating an effective trade promotion environment for domestic and foreign businesses to meet, introduce products – services and then cooperate; thus, promoting Vietnam’s supporting industry. This year, with the support from Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade, Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019 will further enhance its role, opening new opportunities, creating more incentives and favorable conditions for enterprises to meet the authorities, connect with businesses in the same industry and the same field, approach targeted audiences.
“Business Matching” event – Where domestic and foreign enterprises meet
Besides product displaying, one of the most interesting activities at the Saigon Autotech & Accessories is the “Business Matching” event. Every year, at this event, about 2000 meetings between exhibitors and trade visitors take place; nearly 500 commercial activities success.
At the Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019, “Business Matching” event will take place from 23rd to 25th May, 2019. With the comprehensive online and offline communication campaigns aiming at trade visitors, the exhibition is expected to attract about 5,000 trade visitors to visit and work at the exhibition.
Series of useful and professional specialized events
A special feature at Saigon Autotech & Accessories this year is a series of specialized seminars organized under the guidance and support of Vietnam Association for Supporting Industry, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade, with practical topics
- “Made in Vietnam” car – The development opportunity of the Supporting industry within policy impacts, barriers and solutions.
- Electric vehicles – Perfectly integration into smart urban infrastructure.
- Application of intelligent technologies into services for vehicle users
Speakers at these seminars include the authorities, the manufacturers, bank and investment fund and the representatives of consumer. Participating in the workshop, enterprises not only have the opportunity to gain professional knowledge from leading experts to apply in practice but also be able to exchange experience with each other to develop together as well as to demonstrate joint efforts in building supporting industry in Vietnam.
Exciting specialized activities in the framework of Saigon Autotech 2019
In addition to displaying products and specialized events, this year, the Organizing Committee of Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019 will continue to collaborate with the automobile forum Otosaigon.com to organize the Car Audio Competition EMMA Vietnam 2019. This always a desirable event for visitors in general and car enthusiasts in particular. Audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy extremely impressive performances of cars with professionally upgraded sound system and interior – exterior.
Besides, in the framework of Saigon Autotech 2019, there will be car drift performance carried out by professional driver. Certainly, audience will have the chance to enjoy stunning performance.
Moreover, at the exhibition, there will be other practical activities such as car care and maintenance for visitors.

Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2019 organized by Vietnam Industry Agency (VIA) and Asian Trade Fair & Business Promotion (ATFA) with the patronage of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Vietnam Association for Supporting Industry (VASI).
